San Sebastian Gastronomika reaches its 17th edition this year (2015) established as a global standard for haute cuisine. An unmissable event from 4 to 7 October featuring Singapore and Hong Kong as guest cities.
The Kursaal welcomed two different culinary worlds that together recreate one of the most fascinating, passionate and chromatic culinary concepts on the planet. Singapore and Hong Kong offer a double view of flavours waiting to be discovered. Not only in their traditions and their revised versions, but also in the multiple avant-garde approaches that have emerged from the free, creative interpretation of their seas, mountains and horizons…
To begin the congress, El Diario Vasco and Super Amara organized a popular day in which four lucky took a very special prize: Cooking with world renowned chefs, Aizpea Oihaneder (Xarma Restaurant), Iñigo Lavado (Singular Food Restaurant), and the Singapore chefs Peter Teo and Emmanuel Stroobant.
The showcooking was held next to the San Martin FoodMarket, and ALZA collaborated enchanted giving the cookware they used all chefs.
In short, from 4 to 7 October 2015, San Sebastián again become the capital of world cuisine.
